Edge Above Academy (EAA) was founded by Melissa Priegues, a licensed clinical social worker in Florida, with a deep passion for children’s wellness. With over 9 years of experience in social work, including 6 years of licensure in the Sunshine State, Melissa created EAA to make a positive impact on children’s development through afterschool and enrichment programs. A proud mother and wife of a dedicated recreational supervisor, Melissa has witnessed firsthand the difference the right extracurricular activities can make in a child’s life. EAA is unique because it focuses on mental wellness alongside physical and social development, providing activities that help children truly excel.
